Today the students of the PSU Graphic Design program had the pleasure of speaking with NY designer Jessica Hische via skype. If you haven't seen any of her work you should check it out: http://jessicahische.com/typographizes/an-illustrative-initial-every-day She was awesome.

Inspired by her daily drop cap (and by the fact that I have been gently told I design like a twelve year old boy who has a thing for D and D :P) I have decided to make a valiant attempt to draw a monster a day. We shall see how it goes. If for some reason anyone else has the desire to post a monster in response (can you do that on a blog?) please feel free. Perhaps our monsters could battle...or hug.
